Bloomsburg Fair
Bloomsburg hosts the state’s largest fair. Drawing crowds of people into the area, this weeklong event typically takes place in late September into early October and includes a full schedule of activities for the entire family. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the livestock, rides, and exhibitions. The fair also features regular grandstand entertainment such as demolition derby, truck and tractor pulls, and concerts from some of the biggest names in music. Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble
Founded in 1978, the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble offers a regular schedule of thought-provoking, entertaining, and diverse classical and contemporary plays, representing a variety of topics and cultures. Covered Bridge & Arts Festival
Knoebels Amusement Resort hosts the annual Covered Bridge and Arts Festival each year in early October. With nearly 300 crafters and food vendors in attendance, the festival always has great finds for the home and one-of-a-kind gift ideas. Browse the arts and crafts, check out Saturday’s auction, and stay for the antique and classic auto display on Sunday. Bus tours of area covered bridges are also given on Saturday and Sunday.
