Villager 10G Drawings!

Published: 01-11-2012

Tuesday evening, January 10th, marked the 41st and 42nd Villager Realty “10 G” drawings, held at Puirseil’s Pub in Lewisburg.  This double drawing, culminating with drawing #42, represented a total of $420,000 awarded by Villager President Tim Karr to area Realtors who lady luck smiled upon at one of the 10G evenings.  Retired Lewisburg Police Chief Ron Kerstetter officiated.

Fortune called upon Dot Rhone from C21, Covered Bridges, in drawing #41, and Tim Brouse, of Villager Lewisburg, hauled in the cash for drawing #42.  Each left the event with a check for $10,000 in their wallet.

All in attendance enjoyed a wonderful social evening with many commenting that Puirseil’s Pub venue was the best location in the over 5 year history of the 10G program.  We appreciate the assistance of our friends in the area real estate community in selling Villager listings.

Published: 10-21-2011

Tim Karr, President of the regional real estate company Villager Realty, today announced the Agent of the Quarter awards for individual Villager Offices for the third quarter of 2011.  This award recognizes the contributions of agents in offices that are vastly different from each other and serving markets over a large geography.  Production, growth, new levels of personal achievement and community involvement are considered in placing this award.

In Villager Lewisburg, Terry McLaughlin was chosen for recognition, while the Bloomsburg Office honored Barbara Maneval.  The Selinsgrove Office singled out David Sauers for acclaim while the Northumberland Office distinguished Beverly Attkisson.  In Danville, the office selected Mairead Kelly for the award.

From these nominations the Villager Realty Agent of the Quarter is chosen.  "Through this quarter Terry McLaughlin has maintained his exceptional level of listing and sales production while contributing both personally and professionally to the successful operation of his office and the company" said Karr.  "We proudly recognize Terry in our Lewisburg Office with the third quarter title.  Our congratulations go out to Terry and to the public who have had the pleasure of working with him".

Part of Villager's commitment to be Heroes to their Clients, Co-Workers and Community, is the coveted Hero Award.  This designation is bestowed upon any salesperson or support staffer who exemplifies being a "hero".

In Bloomsburg, sales agent Shannon Kulp was nominated.  Danville selected sales agent and Associate Broker Kristen Karr, while in Northumberland, sales agent John Powell was chosen.  Selinsgrove awarded the honor to administrative assistant Deb Fox, while Lewisburg elected administrative assistant and settlement secretary Rosemary Kling.

Kristen Karr, from the Danville Office was selected to receive the Villager Realty Hero of the Quarter award for the third quarter of 2011.  Karr stated, "Kris brings wit and wisdom to each and every day.  Her people skills are amazing, not only with her clients but with the agents and staff in her office.  She is consistently one of Villager's top sales agents, all the while supporting everyone else's road to success.  She is a model agent and is most deserving of this award".
