Villager Realty - Lewisburg  Donates  to  Geisinger's  Marie Lamey Fund

Together for Villager's presentation of the contribution are, from left: Tim Karr, President and CEO of Villager Realty; Jim Holtzapple, Sales Manager and Principal of Villager - Lewisburg; James Evans, M.D.,  breast surgeon and Director of Geisinger Health System's Breast Clinic; Kathy Gorton, RN, breast clinic nurse coordinator; Ellen Leighow, RN, breast clinic nurse coordinator; Sue Krum, CRNP, nurse practitioner, general surgery.

The Lewisburg Office of Villager recently donated $1,000 to Geisinger Medical Center's Marie Lamey Fund.  The fund was established in memory of Marie Lamey, who was the first nurse at GMC solely dedicated to breast care and will benefit women treated at Geisinger's Breast Clinic.  Each year the agents and staff at Lewisburg work together to raise money for a local charity.  This year they chose the Geisinger Breast Clinic in memory of the loved ones many in the office have lost to breast cancer and in appreciation for the wonderful work done by Dr Evans and everyone at Geisinger involved in fighting this disease.

Toys for Tots Drop-Off

The Lewisburg and Selinsgrove Villager offices will once again be accepting donations for the US Marine Corp Toys for Tots Program. This year's need is even greater due to the flood damage in much of the region.  So many families in this area lost so much due to the flooding. Please consider dropping off a new unwrapped toy at any of these 3 locations and help make the Holidays special for some young child in the community.  Thank You!

October Food Drive

During the month of October, Villager's Northumberland and Lewsiburg offices held Food Drives to support the Trinity United Methodist Church Food Pantry and the Union County Food Bank. We would like to thank everyone that contributed and especially to Groninger's Insurance Agency who assisted the Northumberland office in collecting donations at the Northumberland Halloween Parade.

Villager Realty Participates in Annual Pineknotter Days

For the sixth year in a row, the employees of Villager Realty’s Northumberland office participated in this year’s Pineknotter Days from July 4th through 8th. Taking place in Northumberland borough, the annual festival gives the community a chance to get together and celebrate their heritage.

This year, the Villager staff set-up a table display with flags and fireworks display schedules. The volunteers worked a drink stand, which sold beverages to all those who attended to the event. The proceed from this booth went toward the Pineknotter Association. During the performance by the musical group ReCreation, mini-flags were handed out to all of the children and veterans in attendance to wave throughout the event.

The Pineknotter Days is an annual festival that takes place each summer in Northumberland, Pennsylvania. Local residents gather in King Street Park for food, music and games. Once again, Villager Realty was proud to participate in the event and enjoyed connecting with the community.

Villager Realty, a leading real estate firm in the Central Susquehanna Valley, has five offices located throughout the area. The staff is involved in many community activities throughout the year.
