Throughout the 1800s, Mifflinburg was a flourishing town. They were known for their high-end, horse-drawn buggies and many residents were employed by such companies. To honor this history, the Mifflinburg Buggy Museum was established. Visitors are transported back in time and learn about how the buggy industry affected the Mifflinburg community.

R.B. Winter State Park

Spanning 695 acres of wooded forest, R.B. Winter State Park is a popular destination for camping, bird watching, hiking, picnicking, and other outdoor activities. Much of the park is open to hunters during the appropriate seasons. A man-made beach with a volleyball court and children’s play area is a great place to spend a summer afternoon.
